  • Learn to overcome the harsh growing conditions and pests in the Blue Mountains

  • Different composting methods and soil regeneration demonstrations

Join Rhiannon and the Mountains Gourmet Team at the Lawson Garden for a jam packed learning session that will leave you with the fundamental skill to create a thriving edible and biodiverse garden.

There is a large focus on soil science (basics) and problem solving in this workshop. We will focus on the function of soils, how to build it efficiently and effectively and also how to repair damaged soils! From worms to mycelium, well learn about it all.

This workshop will show you how to create a resilient and useful garden space for your household. From garden design and soil structure to irrigation, we will cover all the must knows for successful home gardening.

This workshop is a fantastic opportunity to bring your current garden struggles to the surface. With group problem solving and professional advice, the aim is to break down barriers and get you into the garden producing. Knowing exactly how and why you are growing your own food is also an amazing tool in this changing economy and environment.

This workshop aims to leave you feeling empowered to grow your own food and share it with others. To get you and your family started on your journey you will go home with a range of seeds and seedlings as well as comprehensive workshop notes.
